Computer-Aided Drafting and Photogrammetry (CADMAP) provides a cost-effective approach to digital photogrammetric graphic mapping. Severalmethods of input, interactive graphics edit, and several output formatsare provided. Graphics editing is done realtime and is highlyinteractive. Output may be to line plotters or to many popular neutralformats for translations to other CAD systems. The system is designed tobe a powerful data collection/edit tool for the photogrammetric stereoplotter operator as well as the cartographer. NEW_PARAGRAPHCADMAP is the result of more than seven years of development in theproduction environment. The graphic input and edit procedures wererefined by mapping professionals who have been using the product tosuccessfully complete many digital mapping jobs. The human interface isdesigned to allow a mapping professional to quickly and proficiently usethe system. It is easily understood by individuals with little or nocomputer experience.
